About the position

The Business Development Representative II at TruGreen is a professional B2B sales role focused on achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within a designated territory. This position involves generating and securing new sales by engaging with property management firms, large corporations, and sports facilities, managing a portfolio with annual revenues of approximately $500K to $800K.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans targeting small to large businesses such as property managers, school systems, and government facilities.
  • Presents proposals for lawn care services and secures long-term contracts.
  • Generates new B2B sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
  • Negotiates pricing and service design using company guidelines and technology/CRM.
  • Manages projects within the branch, coordinating with local management and service teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in B2B sales.
  • Knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, tree and shrub, or pest control is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CRM systems and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with lawn care products and services.
