About the position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Coolray Heating and Cooling involves working onsite at partner retail locations to engage with customers and generate interest in scheduling service appointments for residential heating and cooling services. This position is ideal for motivated, sales-driven individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a competitive environment. The role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while interacting with customers face-to-face.

Responsibilities

  • Autonomous work in the field at one of our partner retail locations.
  • Greet customers in the store, encouraging them to stop and learn about the company's products and services.
  • Engage customers in conversation and connect them with our in-house call center to schedule an appointment.
  • Build relationships with customers who may be interested in reaching back out at a later date for themselves, friends, or family members.
  • Attend weekly or monthly meetings and trainings.
  • Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and a smartphone (Bring your own device stipend offered).
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Strong work ethic to perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • At least 18 years of age.
