About the position

As the Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager at Spotlight, you will lead a centralized team focused on driving growth for multiple portfolio companies. Your role involves managing and developing the BDR team to meet pipeline and sales revenue targets through effective prospecting strategies. You will implement data-driven methodologies to enhance team performance and collaborate with marketing leaders to optimize lead generation efforts, ensuring a scalable and efficient BDR operation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a standardized outbound prospecting approach across portfolio companies.
  • Utilize a metrics-driven methodology to analyze the prospecting process and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Manage the inbound lead follow-up process for the BDR team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create outbound campaigns and develop calling scripts and emails.
  • Provide feedback to marketing for refining lead scoring and account targeting methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing performance data and refining prospecting tactics.
  • Conduct coaching sessions to build confidence and provide developmental feedback to BDRs.
  • Lead by example in using analytical rigor and interpersonal skills to mentor BDRs.
  • Create, manage, and refine BDR prospecting sequences for effective meeting generation.
  • Spearhead initiatives to integrate new technologies and data tools to enhance the business development process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing a BDR team and increasing pipeline and sales.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, with troubleshooting skills.
  • Skilled in data analysis and advanced data manipulation techniques.
  • Deep understanding of business development performance metrics and data trend interpretation.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000 - $95,000 plus a reachable $45,000 commission & bonus target based on performance.
