About the position

The Business Development Representative at RF Technologies is responsible for supporting the sales team by generating and qualifying sales leads, setting appointments with potential customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in kick-starting the sales process and involves strategic outreach to both prospects and existing customers to uncover new sales opportunities and maintain strong relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically contact prospects to uncover new sales opportunities using BANT qualification criteria.
  • Contact existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and uncover additional needs.
  • Initiate lead/demand generation strategies through inbound/outbound sales and marketing calls.
  • Meet individual quotas established for the assigned market.
  • Maintain and update the contact management database with customer and sales data after interactions.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in cold calling, sales, and lead generation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling and solution selling.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Experience with customer database (i.e., CRM solution).
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
