About the position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Cirata focuses on qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and converting them into sales opportunities. This position involves engaging with potential clients through various channels, presenting Cirata's value proposition, and collaborating with Go-To-Market teams for major cloud providers. The BDR is responsible for identifying client needs, building long-term relationships, and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the Americas market.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Present Cirata value proposition to potential clients
  • Work closely with Go-To-Market teams for Microsoft, AWS, Google, IBM
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and cloud providers
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the Americas markets
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and account teams
  • Report to the Business Manager on sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

  • 3-7 years sales or business development experience
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calls, email prospecting, social media prospecting, detail account research methodology
  • Track record of achieving sales development objectives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, AWS, Google, and IBM sales ecosystem a plus
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) a plus
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
