About the position

The Business Development Representative at TruGreen is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory. This role focuses on generating and securing new business-to-business sales opportunities, particularly targeting property management firms, landscape companies, and sports-related facilities. The position offers uncapped commission potential and is part of a growing commercial sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans to small, medium, and large businesses.
  • Call on property managers, landscapers, school systems, sports facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, or any corporate entity in need of superior lawn care products/services.
  • Present proposals for lawn care services and programs along with obtaining long-term contracts.
  • Generate new business-to-business sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
  • Negotiate price and design utilizing custom-based technology and devices.
  • Generate leads utilizing a CRM system to manage projects and opportunities, contact information, forecasting reports, etc.
  • Perform project management duties and implement the coordination of multiple service departments.

Requirements

  • 5 years of B2B sales experience (Required)
  • 5 years of cold calling experience (Required)
  • 5 years of prospecting new business (B2B) experience (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CRM systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
