About the position

The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving individual and group sales objectives through effective client engagement and proposal management. This role involves generating market intelligence, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with the business development team to drive sales success in the green commercial cleaning industry.

Responsibilities

  • Attainment of individual and group Account Sales objectives.
  • Runs all appointments set by the inside sales team and delivers the Stratus presentation at each first appointment.
  • Prepares and/or reviews new business proposals with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Delivers all proposals within 48 business hours of running the appointment.
  • Follow up with prospective clients regularly until a 'sold/lost' determination is made.
  • Works in cooperation with the Director of Business Development/Regional Director to help achieve individual objectives and to develop tools for tracking established objectives and reports to indicate levels of individual and group achievement.
  • Develops and maintains economic and market intelligence files.
  • Analyzes, collates, and presents information concerning current market conditions and competition as requested by the Director of Business Development.
  • Establishes and maintains prospect and customer files.
  • Cooperates and coordinates the start-up of new accounts with Franchise Business Consultants.
  • Make recommendations concerning effective sales methods and techniques.
  • Works closely with the Director of Business Development, Franchise Business Consulting department, and the Regional Director in all matters affecting accounts or franchisees.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Business Development or Regional Director.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with G-Suite Workspace, HubSpot, LinkedIn
  • Ability to navigate the internet and various platforms
  • Reliable transportation
  • 1 year of experience in a related field
