About the position

The Business Development Representative at Polyconcept North America (PCNA) is responsible for leading efforts to establish and grow new commercial relationships that enhance demand for the company's print-on-demand solutions. This role involves developing effective acquisition strategies, managing a formal pipeline process, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with market needs and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages prospects to win-rates and growth acceleration through a formal funnel and pipeline management process.
  • Builds an active and robust pipeline of promising strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Develops relationships and builds trust with key strategic partners.
  • Collaborates with marketing to develop relevant plans and assets to accelerate sales cycles and achieve targets.
  • Negotiates commercial terms (forecast, pricing, timelines).
  • Collaborates with internal merchandising and product development teams to inform the roadmap and ensure that our assortment and capabilities meet the demands and needs of the target market.
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arranges business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promotes the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
  • Leads executive team's development of lead/demand generation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a similar program of study, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Related business development experience in a high growth environment.
  • Strong strategic, acquisition process management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and performance analytics skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA not required but preferred.
  • Commercial understanding and awareness of POD business from either running your own business, by having experience in the industry, or managing new customer acquisition.
