About the position

At Paradox, we are on a mission to revolutionize the hiring process through innovative technology. As a Business Development Representative (Talent Experience Specialist) in our Sales Rotational Program, you will embark on a transformative journey over three years, immersing yourself in the dynamic world of software sales. This program is designed for individuals who are not only ambitious but also passionate about making a meaningful impact in their work. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams, including Business Development, Client Success, and Talent Acquisition/Marketing/Solutions Practice Team, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the core functions that drive client acquisition and success. Throughout the program, you will develop foundational sales skills, deepen your understanding of our products, and enhance your expertise in the talent acquisition process. You will engage in strategic conversations with potential clients, utilizing creative prospecting strategies to build a robust pipeline. Your role will involve making outbound cold calls, nurturing relationships with prospective clients, and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives. Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective new clients who can benefit from our products.
  • Build meaningful relationships with potential clients throughout the sales process.
  • Contribute to new client onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  • Support the retention and expansion of existing client relationships.
  • Partner with Account Executives to assist in sales activities, including pipeline management and account updates.
  • Utilize creative prospecting strategies to build a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Make outbound cold calls (60+ calls/day) and engage in consultative conversations with prospects.
  • Nurture relationships with prospective clients through ongoing engagement and communication.
  • Book 5+ qualified meetings per week for Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with anticipated graduation date of Winter 2024 or Spring 2025.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales, recruiting, and/or customer service.
  • Commitment to completing the entire ~3 year Product Rotational Program.
  • A track record of excellence and distinction, such as leadership roles, awards/scholarships, or other personal accomplishments.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional phone presence.
  • Driven to make an impact and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work from our Scottsdale, AZ or Chicago, IL office.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
