About the position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) for One Care is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales accounts and leads to support the One Care product. This role focuses on designing lead nurturing workflows and building relationships to support growth for 2024-2025 and ensure an effective 2025 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) for 1/1/26 enrollment. The BDR will be a sales-oriented partner driving results from lead generation initiatives and will support the launch of a One Care sales team in Q4 2025, while collaborating with community engagement efforts to maximize growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales accounts and leads for One Care.
  • Design lead nurturing workflows and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Develop innovative market infiltration strategies and contribute to a viable sales plan for the assigned territory.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Tufts Health Plan and maintain product certifications and licensure.
  • Develop partner-based relationships with community organizations and provider groups.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of outreach strategies and programs.
  • Manage activities and events within budget.
  • Conduct presentations and sales activities in compliance with regulations.
  • Keep up with administrative requirements including business plans and reports.
  • Represent Point32Health in alignment with company values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in managed Medicare, Managed Long Term Care, or health insurance sales.
  • 2 years of sales, outreach, or community relationship experience in a managed care environment.
  • Experience in high volume sales environments preferred.
  • Experience developing market research and strategies for sales teams.
  • Experience building relationships with community-based organizations and providers.
  • Prior community outreach and advocacy experience.
  • Working knowledge of elderly services and programming.
  • Experience with Government Programs, Medicare, and Medicaid preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and customer service skills.
  • Experience marketing to culturally diverse populations required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills including knowledge of SWOT and competitive analysis required.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant regulations required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
