About the position

The Business Development Representative at Zebra Technologies is an entry-level sales role focused on generating leads and prospecting within Enterprise accounts. This position is ideal for new graduates looking to start their careers in sales, providing opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. The role requires onsite presence in the Chicago office five days a week and involves direct communication with potential customers to identify their needs and promote Zebra's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts and qualifies all new partners applying into the PartnerConnect program to ensure strategic criteria are met.
  • Provides outreach to new partners in PartnerConnect, reviewing program benefits and Zebra products.
  • Identifies pipeline opportunities and supports partners with product information and sales alignment.
  • Provides initial training to new partners on navigating Partner Gateway and submitting deal registrations.
  • Identifies high potential partners for escalation to CAM/ICAM and reports monthly.
  • Supports key growth initiatives for Territory Partners, including product promotions and recruiting partners for events.
  • Follows up with partners and end users on deal registrations to qualify opportunities for TAMs.
  • Drives compliance for non-managed partners in conjunction with PIC and channel sales team as needed.
  • Assists and supports CAMs with larger Zebra Partners as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Interest and/or experience in pipeline generation with effective communication skills (0+ years).
  • Strong interest in sales to drive new business opportunities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Moderate sales domain/solutions knowledge.
  • Basic technical product knowledge.
  • Understanding of Solution Selling concepts and ability to overcome customer objections.
  • Ability to seek answers and resources to address challenges.
