About the position

The Business Development Representative at The Unit Consulting plays a crucial role in expanding the client base and enhancing the reach of HR consulting services. This position involves identifying potential business clients, conducting cold calls, and building strong customer relationships to meet sales targets. The role offers flexibility and independence, allowing representatives to manage their own schedules and develop personalized sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential business clients within the small to mid-sized business sector.
  • Conduct cold calls and utilize networking strategies to generate new sales leads.
  • Present and sell The Unit Consulting's range of HR services to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Attend networking events, seminars, and other business gatherings to promote our services.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to our clients.
  • Coordinate with the management team to enhance sales materials and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
