About The Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) at NetNation will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating new strategic partner opportunities. This position involves engaging in market research, multi-channel outreach, and relationship development to establish new channel opportunities for NetNation's suite of online applications targeted at small businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in penetrating major accounts, preferably in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated history of successful sales, business development, and quota attainment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with Salesforce.com including campaign development, management, and execution, opportunity management, and reporting.
  • Multi-channel outbound contact and relationship development using phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of an organization, both internal and customer-facing.
  • Market and company research utilizing LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Internet search.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new partner onboarding, sales, marketing, and product management strategies to grow the Global Partner Program.
  • Research market segments and member companies to identify new prospective partners.
  • Aggressively perform outbound contact to educate prospects on NetNation and identify specific new partner opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key decision makers and influencers within prospective partners.
  • Provide input and feedback to Marketing related to new partner acquisition efforts.
  • Lead proposal activities with support from internal departments.
  • Learn NetNation product offerings and value propositions and maintain expertise in the product portfolio.
  • Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and guided walk-throughs of NetNation's product portfolio and associated services.
  • Participate in discussions with prospects, customers, and partners to gather technical and process-related requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with external/internal teams and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Multi-task and manage multiple initiatives with shared resources.
  • Liaise with various departments to effectively communicate and represent Global Partner's needs.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in the Global Partner Channel Sales and assist in implementation of solutions.
