About the position

The Business Development Representative role at Southern 441 Nissan involves engaging with customers through inbound and outbound calls, providing information about new and pre-owned vehicles, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. This position is crucial for supporting the dealership's growth and requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, verify, and distribute information from inbound and outbound calls.
• Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
• Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from guests.
• Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to guests.
• Gather and track all guest data accurately in the BDC database.
• Utilize detailed scripts to address guest inquiries and concerns.
• Work closely with other Sales BDC Representatives in a team-based environment.
• Facilitate timely follow-up on all internet leads as directed by management.
• Adhere to company direction related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
• Partner with BDC leadership on activities in the dealership and communicate with management on behalf of guests.
• Participate in departmental and dealership meetings.

Requirements

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills via phone, one-on-one, and online.
• Proficient in basic math and writing skills.
• Proven customer service track record or a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
• Comfortable in a high-paced, competitive environment.
• Ability to pass drug testing, background investigation/interview, and pre-employment assessment.
