About the position

DH Pace Company is seeking a Business Development Manager in Denver, Colorado, who is experienced in closing sales. This role involves working for a recognized brand and industry leader that offers best-in-class product and sales training, setting you on the path to success. DH Pace is one of the world's most recognized leaders in commercial door solutions, and we are currently looking for a motivated sales representative to sell our well-known, high-quality products. In this position, you will meet with decision-makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services. You will conduct business-to-business sales presentations with industrial and commercial building owners/managers, colleges, K-12 institutions, municipalities, and hospitals in Denver and the surrounding areas. Your goal will be to meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards while maintaining and updating Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) daily. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with contacts at all levels. You should possess a high sense of urgency and exceptional problem-solving skills, along with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems is preferred, although not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services.
  • Conduct business-to-business sales presentations with industrial and commercial building owners/managers, colleges, K-12 institutions, municipalities, and hospitals in Denver and surrounding areas.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of three years outside sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with contacts at all levels.
  • High sense of urgency with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in commercial door solutions or related industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
