About the position

Overhead Door Company of Nashville™, a DH Pace Company, is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is pivotal in driving sales for our commercial line of business, which specializes in commercial and entry doors, as well as service and preventative maintenance programs. We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional who embodies a hunter mentality, eager to engage with potential clients and close deals. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting with decision-makers to influence their purchasing decisions regarding our comprehensive line of doors and related products and services. You will cultivate sales opportunities with commercial and industrial building owners and managers, educational institutions (colleges and K-12), municipalities, and hospitals in Nashville and the surrounding areas. Your ability to influence customers' decisions to utilize our extensive range of door products and services will be crucial to your success. You will be expected to meet or exceed established sales and gross profit performance standards while maintaining and updating our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on a daily basis. Additionally, you may be assigned other tasks as needed to support the team and the company's mission. Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of doors and related door products and services.
  • Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial building owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, and hospitals in Nashville and surrounding areas.
  • Influence customers' decision to utilize our vast line of door products and services.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
  • Take on additional assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in commercial sales or business development.
  • Knowledge of door products and services.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
