About the position

Carolina Industrial Systems, a division of DH Pace Company, is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in driving sales for our commercial line of business, specifically focusing on door and door-related products. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales leader who excels in outside sales and has a passion for hunting new business opportunities. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting with decision-makers to influence their purchasing decisions regarding our comprehensive range of commercial doors and related products and services. You will cultivate relationships with various stakeholders, including owners and managers of commercial and industrial buildings, educational institutions (colleges and K-12), municipalities, and hospitals in Greensboro and the surrounding areas. Your goal will be to meet or exceed established sales and gross profit performance standards while effectively influencing customers to utilize our extensive line of door products and services. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily, ensuring that all interactions and sales activities are accurately recorded. As a dynamic team member, you may also take on additional assignments as needed to support the overall success of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related door products and services.
  • Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial building owners/managers, colleges, K-12, municipalities, and hospitals in Greensboro and surrounding areas.
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Influence customers' decisions to utilize our vast line of door products and services.
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
  • Take on additional assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience.
  • Overhead Door experience is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
