The Business Development (Sales Representative) position at United Consulting is designed for entry-level candidates who are eager to develop and maintain sales relationships within well-established communities. The primary goal of this role is to work collaboratively with other business development representatives to support clients within their assigned sales territory, with a focus on transitioning clients to new sales territories. This position requires a proactive approach to networking and relationship-building, as candidates will be expected to steadily increase their network growth through community engagement and professional connections. In this role, the Sales Representative will assist the sales team in maintaining a viable network of clientele, which is crucial for the success of the business. The representative will also attend industry conferences throughout the year, which may require overnight stays, to further enhance their networking opportunities and industry knowledge. Working closely with the Sales Manager, Marketing team, and Principal Contact, the representative will help establish Go/No Go Pursuits and ensure that regular updates are maintained in the Client Resource Management (CRM) software. Additionally, the Sales Representative will collaborate with Department Managers, Team Leaders, and other sales team members to ensure a positive client experience. This includes assisting with corporate strategic pursuits and supporting marketing and corporate events as needed. The role also involves creating a personal network of industry professionals to facilitate business growth and client engagement.
