As a Business Development Sales Representative at Nolan Transportation Group (NTG), you will play a pivotal role in driving success within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be an entrepreneur of your own book of business, which involves researching leads, cold calling, and persuading decision-makers to utilize NTG's services. You will employ persistent and creative methods to prospect and generate new business opportunities, ensuring that you provide a high level of service through consistent communication to support the daily operational needs of your customers. Participation in required sales training and continuous education will be essential, as you will strive to become a subject matter expert in NTG's service offerings and industry trends. Meeting or exceeding established production metrics will be a key performance indicator for your success. Collaboration with coworkers in a team-oriented environment will also be crucial, as you work together to redefine what is possible in the world of freight brokerage. This position may also involve performing other duties as assigned, allowing for flexibility and growth within the role.

Responsibilities

  • Research leads and cold call potential clients to generate new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Full-time availability, 100% in-office work.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior sales experience preferred or a strong passion for inside sales.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics or freight brokerage is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI technology and digital logistics platforms.
