About the position

The Business Development Sales Representative III at Ebara Technologies is responsible for sourcing, selecting, and qualifying advanced components for innovative technologies. This role focuses on developing strategic business plans to enhance materials sales and drive success within the company. The position requires collaboration with account managers and engineering teams to identify new business opportunities and improve product offerings, while also serving as a technical liaison between suppliers and development engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and identify options for part refurbishment and alternative component technologies.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between component suppliers and development engineers.
  • Develop commercial strategy and marketing plans for alternate components and new business opportunities.
  • Travel 25-50% of the time to assess sales effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support materials sales issues and escalations at customer sites.
  • Manage ECN customer communication and EOL parts tracking.
  • Support evaluations and troubleshooting in the field with engineering and customer groups.
  • Manage materials issues interfacing with EBARA Corporation and customers.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new business opportunities globally.
  • Manage financial performance for assigned accounts.
  • Train and mentor Business Development Engineers I-II.
  • Comply with Ebara's safety policies and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent technical experience.
  • Six or more years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Three to five years of experience in CMP or Plating business, sales, or project management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective public speaking and strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $109,000 - $120,000 per year.
