About the position

The Business Development Sales Representative position at SERVPRO of Northwest Dallas is a full-time role that requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service. This position involves accepting emergency service job leads 24/7, which includes on-call duties to sign up and sell services related to insurance property damages, such as fire, water, and mold for both residential and commercial clients who have experienced property loss. The compensation structure is based on a combination of salary and commission, with earnings ranging from $800 to $1,200 per week depending on performance. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling franchise services within your assigned territory, aiming to meet or exceed assigned sales goals. You will grow and develop the customer base by systematically identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships through regular contact, visits, and follow-ups. Utilizing marketing materials such as SERVPRO® Key Differentiators and the Emergency Ready Plan, you will effectively communicate the benefits of SERVPRO® services to potential clients. Your responsibilities will include executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments, maintaining contact lists, and participating in professional associations. You will also host educational events, complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs), and build strong customer relationships by educating clients on why SERVPRO® is the leading cleaning and restoration company. Additionally, you will compile and maintain center of influence (COI) information and identify the top 25 contacts to develop into clients, ensuring that all assigned jobs are monitored and customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle and setting up closing appointments.
  • Maintain assigned contact lists and participate in professional associations.
  • Host lunch-and-learns and promote continuing education (CE) courses.
  • Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation.
  • Conduct objective-to-objective daily marketing contacts.
  • Build customer relationships and rapport by educating them on SERVPRO® services.
  • Compile and maintain center of influence (COI) information and identify 'Target 25' contacts.
  • Provide and communicate clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates.
  • Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Provide owners and marketing managers with one-on-one meetings with COIs to encourage SERVPRO® referrals.
  • Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving sales territory goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience.
  • Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector.
  • Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial background with a process-and-results-driven attitude.
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
