We are currently seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on working with our financial advisors and their clients. This role is ideal for individuals eager to launch and grow a career in financial planning. The Financial Planning team plays a crucial role in analyzing current portfolios and delivering detailed analyses to our advisors. The representative will be responsible for producing financial plans tailored to the specific needs of prospects and consulting with advisors on complex financial planning cases. This position requires a proactive approach to communication and analysis, ensuring that our advisors have the necessary information to provide the best service to their clients. As a Business Development Sales Representative, you will engage in various tasks, including reviewing financial, investment, and insurance statements, communicating with advisors to gather information for case analysis, researching suitable investments, and running analysis reports using various financial planning software platforms. This role is essential in supporting our advisors and enhancing the overall client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial, investment, and insurance statements and documents
  • Communicate with advisors regarding information needed for proper case analysis
  • Research appropriate investments for analysis
  • Run analysis reports in various financial planning software platforms

Requirements

  • College degree in business or finance-related field
  • Financial planning professional designations preferred
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
  • High standards for accuracy, quality, and efficiency
  • Ability to work well in time-sensitive situations
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of the financial markets and investments
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance products and investment products
  • Designations such as CFP preferred
