About the position

The Business Development Sales Representative at Walter's Auto Sales is responsible for generating appointments and managing leads to qualify and market to potential customers. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction and requires effective communication skills to attract and retain clients. The position offers opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment that values employee development and community involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management.
  • Attract potential clients and retain current clientele by answering product questions via phone and/or internet.
  • Utilize CRM heavily to manage customer interactions.
  • Contribute to high scores for the manufacturer's customer satisfaction index (CSI).
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including online resources.
  • Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be available to respond to phone and email inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals each month and quarter.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility with schedule.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
  • Must have a clean & valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience in Food/Beverage, Hospitality, Retail Sales, Insurance, Real Estate, or recent graduates from College or Military.
