About the position

The Business Development Specialist at AGA Legal Staffing LLC will play a crucial role in the global marketing and business development team of a law firm in Downtown Los Angeles. This position involves collaborating with lawyers to implement business development strategies, creating marketing materials, and monitoring industry news for potential opportunities. The specialist will also assist in onboarding new partners and managing client events and webinars.

Responsibilities

• Work with lawyers in assigned practices to execute business development plans, initiatives, and activities.
• Create, customize, and regularly update pitch documents, directory submissions, and other marketing content.
• Monitor business, legal, and geopolitical news to identify potential opportunities for individual partners and practice groups.
• Assist with business development tasks related to onboarding and integration of assigned lateral partners.
• Execute and conduct follow-up for client events, webinars, and other thought leadership campaigns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.

Nice-to-haves

• At least five years of experience may be considered for a Manager level role.
