About the position
The Business Development Specialist serves as a crucial link between Member Outreach Representatives and Member Enrollment Specialists, focusing on expanding the membership base for Gloria Gates CARE. This role involves outreach marketing, relationship building with potential businesses, and ensuring effective communication of membership benefits to prospective members.
Responsibilities
- Contact potential members through calls and emails.
- Data entry of confidential information in CRM.
- Identify potential member needs.
- Present the benefits of being a member of Gloria Gates CARE.
- Set up appointments between businesses and Member Outreach Representatives.
- Stay up to date with new healthcare offerings.
- Report to the Outreach Manager weekly.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Outreach Account Executive or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple outreach techniques (including cold calls).
- Track record of achieving membership quotas.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Experience in relevant field.
