About the position

The Business Development Specialist at Mid-West Family La Crosse is responsible for selling and soliciting advertising space across various media platforms, including publications, signage, TV, radio, and the Internet. Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business and build relationships with local business owners.
  • Sell or solicit advertising space, time, or media in various formats.
  • Develop and sell marketing ideas and concepts to clients.
  • Represent and communicate the Mid-West Family suite of products and services.
  • Qualify the wants and needs of local business owners swiftly.
  • Upgrade current customers and sell to new clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and marketing preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates.
  • Superior relationship building skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Digital and social media acumen required.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance for travel.
