About the position

The Business Development Underwriter for Workers' Compensation at ICW Group is a pivotal role that focuses on expanding the company's market presence in Tennessee. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting, specifically in workers' compensation insurance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with agents and clients.
  • Proficient in using underwriting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certification in underwriting (e.g., CPCU, AU) is a plus.
  • Experience in business development or sales within the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of Tennessee workers' compensation laws and regulations.
