About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rental Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating rental transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure a seamless rental experience. The Rental Agent will also cultivate a customer base to convert service customers to future appointments.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers renting Toyota Rent-A-Car vehicles that meet their needs and preferences.
- Manage the rental application process, including data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Explain rental terms and conditions to potential tenants.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to rental agreements and client interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all rental vehicles are well-presented and maintained.
- Utilize Excel for tracking inventory, managing schedules, and reporting purposes.
- Engage in public speaking opportunities to promote rental services at community events or meetings.
- Assist Service Customers with service needs pertaining to appointments.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in front desk operations or customer service roles is preferred.
- Proficient in Excel for data management and reporting tasks.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist in pricing strategies and financial assessments.
- Sales management experience is beneficial for driving rental transactions.
- Excellent public speaking skills for presentations and community engagement efforts.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
