About the position

The Business Director at Klipsch Senior Care is responsible for overseeing all business office activities, including financial management, compliance, and risk management. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions across all locations, while reflecting the company's core values of empathy, respect, and professionalism. The director will lead a team, manage financial processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, all while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting function for all Klipsch Senior Care Home Instead locations.
  • Monitor and manage the accounts receivable and collections processes.
  • Process semi-monthly billing for all clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of client insurance-related claims and authorizations.
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for CarePro and Key Player staff, managing insurance-related deductions.
  • Monitor and verify all daily bank activity including deposits and ACH transactions.
  • Reconcile all bank statements and loan accounts for accuracy.
  • Create monthly financial statements by the 10th of the following month.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations.
  • Oversee the submission of claims and work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely task completion.
  • Ensure training and support for all direct reports.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Coordinate and manage all business insurance policies and building lease agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 4 to 10 years of related business experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the senior-care industry.
