About the position
This is a full-time, temporary Business Education teaching position at F. Niel Postlethwait Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. The role requires candidates to possess or be eligible for Business, Finance, or Marketing Education Teacher certification in the State of Delaware. Successful candidates will need to provide evidence of PRAXIS II scores or a valid out-of-state teaching license.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business Education subjects to middle school students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Requirements
- Possess or be eligible for Business, Finance, or Marketing Education Teacher certification in Delaware.
- Meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Business Education.
- Provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out-of-state teaching license.
