The Business Enablement Manager will play a pivotal role in representing the Business Technology organization as a liaison with various business units. In this role, the Business Enablement Manager will assist business partners in preparing new technology requests and initiatives, ensuring that their needs are communicated effectively to technology professionals. This position requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills to manage various aspects of our technology product line. The goal is to maximize the benefits of technology and technology enablement in support of our corporate business objectives. The Business Enablement Manager will lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative technology products. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, HR, merchandising, marketing, and store operations to design and deliver products that align with our company vision and market demand. The role also involves defining and managing product roadmaps, setting expectations with relevant stakeholders, and analyzing market trends to adjust product strategies accordingly. A strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative technology products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, merchandising, marketing, and store operations to design and deliver products that align with our company vision and market demand.
  • Defining and managing product roadmaps, setting expectations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyzing market trends and competition and adjusting product strategies accordingly.
  • Working closely with technical teams to ensure products are built to specifications and launched on time.
  • Managing high-risk, high-visibility projects effectively.

Requirements

  • University degree in the field of computer science and/or project management.
  • 10 years of equivalent work experience in project management or related fields.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong understanding of project, portfolio, OCM, and Agile techniques.
  • Extensive experience with e-commerce, marketing, merchandising planning platforms and/or processes.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Agile and other related project disciplines.
  • Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and steering committee.
  • Experience in the retail industry.
