About the position

The Enterprise Change Management Change Readiness and Adoption team at Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Business Execution Consultant to join their efforts in executing a multi-year learning program. This program is designed to enhance the change management skills of our practitioners and foster a culture of excellent change management throughout the organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that business goals and objectives are met by participating in various assigned and ongoing business operations. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement by conducting thorough root cause analyses of compliance and business metrics. You will assess areas of strength and opportunities for business execution within your defined scope of work. Additionally, you will review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes that align with performance metrics and policy expectations. Utilizing your independent judgment, you will guide moderate risk deliverables and present recommendations aimed at developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic approaches to improve business performance and manage risks effectively. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with leaders and executive management, providing direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff. Your ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, will be essential as you facilitate training sessions and engage with various business groups and role levels. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on achieving the objectives of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of compliance and business metrics.
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work.
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations.
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches and business performance improvement opportunities.
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group.
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 2+ years' experience performing learning needs analysis and developing learning content.
  • 2+ years' experience in organizational change management consulting in large organizations.
  • Proven ability to develop and facilitate training sessions across various business groups and role levels.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a multi-tasking, high-pressure environment with strong influencing skills.
