About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant in Consumer, Small and Business Banking (CSBB) to enhance business operations and ensure the achievement of business goals. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, conducting compliance testing, and collaborating with leadership to implement effective strategies for risk management and business performance enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in assigned and ongoing business operations to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through root cause testing of compliance and business metrics.
  • Determine areas of strength or execution opportunity within the defined scope of work.
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations.
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic approaches and business performance improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of branch banking experience
  • 2+ years of branch banking operations management experience
  • Understanding of branch compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Leadership skills including the ability to coach, train, influence, and develop staff
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt through change
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
