As a Business Analyst at ConGlobal, you will play a key role in driving business improvements by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for modeling and pricing railroad terminal operations, warehouse yard management, and depot storage opportunities. You will make recommendations and manage a tariff for transactional business, adjusting for capacity, demand, and other relevant dynamics. Monitoring monthly pricing results and creating reports to share pricing trends, outcomes, and future actions will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful insights and recommendations. Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance will be essential. Conducting trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks will help the organization stay ahead in a competitive market. Additionally, you will create yearly budget templates for each assigned location, evaluate key drivers based on macro and microeconomic factors, and consult with Regional VPs of Operations and Sales to set and adjust financial goals. Presenting your findings to the board of directors and other stakeholders will require strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly. Your role will also involve evaluating current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and develop business cases for proposed solutions will be necessary to drive effective change. You will need to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet their objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders will be vital to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization. You will need to communicate findings, recommendations, and updates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a culture of transparency and teamwork.
