As a Business Analyst at ConGlobal, you will play a pivotal role in driving business improvements through data analysis and strategic insights. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and support the company's business objectives. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that align with the company's mission of delivering superior service and maintaining an exemplary safety record. In this hybrid position based in Omaha, NE, you will be involved in several key areas, including pricing, data analysis and reporting, budget formulation, business process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. You will model and price railroad terminal operations, manage warehouse yard operations, and oversee depot storage opportunities. Your recommendations will be crucial in managing tariffs for transactional business, adjusting for capacity and demand dynamics, and monitoring pricing results to share insights on trends and future actions. You will also be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide meaningful insights. This includes developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and conducting trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks. Additionally, you will create yearly budget templates for assigned locations, consult with Regional VPs of Operations and Sales to set financial goals, and prepare presentations for the board of directors and other stakeholders. Your role will require you to evaluate current business processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop business cases for proposed solutions. Strong communication skills will be essential as you build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication of findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
