About the position

The Business Generation Manager (Sales Enablement) at Gartner is responsible for supporting Consulting VPs with a client-centric marketing approach. This role involves lead generation, sales support, and the production of marketing materials, while also managing client inquiries and territory management. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams and external clients to enhance sales efforts and increase qualified leads.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Consulting VPs to provide client-centric marketing support.
  • Conduct daily client inquiry mining for potential leads.
  • Qualify leads directly with the Sales channel (MSE, LE, GE).
  • Produce sales and marketing materials, including marketing emails and content for AEs.
  • Support campaign management for client attendance at Gartner Conferences.
  • Assist selected VPs with sales territory management and meeting scheduling.
  • Identify, target, and monitor key accounts for potential opportunities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for departmental inquiries from internal groups.
  • Maintain the Salesforce CRM system for territory pipeline updates and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of work experience in a Lead Generation / Client Services role preferred.
  • Experience in the technology sector preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Self-starter and innovative thinker required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think outside the box.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in brand journalism and editorial content creation.
  • Interest or experience in an IT-related industry.
