About the position

The Business Generation Manager (Sales Enablement) role at Gartner focuses on supporting Consulting VPs with a client-centric marketing approach. This position is responsible for lead generation, sales support, and campaign management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a proactive and innovative mindset to drive engagement and increase qualified leads while maintaining the territory pipeline in the Salesforce CRM system.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Consulting VPs to provide client-centric marketing support.
  • Conduct daily client inquiry mining for potential leads.
  • Qualify leads directly with the Sales channel before escalating to VPs.
  • Produce sales and marketing materials, including marketing emails and content for AEs.
  • Support campaign management for client attendance at Gartner Conferences.
  • Assist selected VPs with sales territory management and meeting scheduling.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for departmental inquiries from internal groups.
  • Engage in ad-hoc and strategic project initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain the territory pipeline in Salesforce CRM for biweekly reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of work experience in a Lead Generation / Client Services role preferred.
  • Experience in the technology sector preferred, but not essential.
  • Expertise in brand journalism, editorial content creation, and integrated marketing techniques is a plus.
  • Self-starter and innovative thinker required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Interest or experience in an IT-related industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
