About the position

The Business Graduate Program at RWE Supply & Trading is a two-year initiative designed to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to various general business functions through four six-month rotations. The program begins in the United States, likely in Chicago, and offers the option to complete a rotation in Singapore, Germany, or the UK. Participants will engage in significant projects across areas such as Accounting, Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, and Project Management, while being supported by a mentor and a buddy. The program aims to develop industry experts who can contribute to the company's expansion into new markets.

Responsibilities

• Participate in four six-month rotations across various business functions.
• Engage in significant projects in areas such as Accounting, Finance, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, and Project Management.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver assigned work and contribute to the company's expansion efforts.
• Develop skills and knowledge to become an industry expert through hands-on experience and training.
• Connect the dots across the value chain to gain an in-depth understanding of global business operations.

Requirements

• A degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, VBA, SQL, and Python.
• A desire to work collaboratively and a curious approach to problem-solving.
• Motivated to take on new challenges, both independently and in a team setting.
• Analytical mind with the ability to learn quickly.
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop skills and seek out development opportunities.
• Flexibility and mobility to travel to multiple locations.
