As a Business Immigration Analyst, you will learn about the various types of immigration matters and build knowledge of firm, immigration case types, and client processes. Your responsibilities will include performing tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, document review, case drafting, and case filing. With the guidance of your supervisor, you will communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries. You will also meet assigned deadlines that adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to your supervisor. Additionally, you will compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers, and the team. Understanding and contributing to team and individual productivity goals will be essential, as will demonstrating flexibility and initiative. Following documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance is crucial, including adhering to Data Privacy protocols and using Connect accurately and in line with team and client protocols.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer-facing or client service-oriented role.
  • A client-service mindset, attention to details and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines.
  • Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel.
