About the position

The Business Insights Analyst II plays a crucial role in analyzing data to generate insights that drive business growth and value. This position supports the Initiative Data Management team by measuring their work and creating various reports using tools like Clarity PPM and ServiceNow. The analyst is expected to work independently, act as a subject matter expert, and coach others while focusing on short to medium-term business issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses on curated and aggregated DataMarts to generate analytical insights for business issues.
• Utilize Clarity PPM and ServiceNow tools to build reports based on data.
• Create operational, management, and executive reporting for the team, including compliance metrics.
• Ensure all reports have metadata, lineage, and repeatability for audit and traceability.
• Develop analysis and visualizations to illustrate business trends and identify opportunities.
• Provide day-to-day support and delivery of analytics insights and collateral.
• Identify and investigate data/analytics related issues and ensure accuracy in analysis.
• Educate and train business users on integrating analytics into decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators and business requirements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis and insights generation.
• Proven data wrangling, data mining, data research, and data visualization/reporting skills.
• Solid skills in SQL, Python/R, PowerBI/Tableau.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Clarity PPM is a plus.
