About the position

The Senior Business Insights Analyst at NetJets is responsible for leveraging advanced analytical techniques to drive insights and solutions across the organization. This role involves developing predictive models, performing statistical analyses, and creating data-driven strategies that impact business decisions. The position requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to translate complex data concepts into actionable business strategies. The BI&A department aims to be a trusted partner for leaders at all levels, delivering exceptional analytical insights and solutions to various challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Partner with leaders throughout the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that support decision-making processes.
• Communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide recommendations and insight into the use of advanced modeling and analytics techniques.
• Work with individuals across data teams and in the business to create patterns ensuring successful deployment of analytical products and advanced models.
• Translate findings into strategic recommendations that drive business performance and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
• Stay updated on the latest data science trends, tools, and techniques to ensure the application of cutting-edge methods in your work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mathematics or Data Analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or a similar role, with a proven track record of building predictive models and delivering data-driven insights.
• Post-graduate degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with Snowflake and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control tools (GitHub, BitBucket) are a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
