About the position

The Business Insights Specialist is responsible for conducting analyses on curated and aggregated DataMart's to generate relevant analytical insights for business issues and identify opportunities for business growth and value. This role supports Data Issue Management and Remediation projects within the Risk & Regulatory Data & Analytics organization, focusing on the creation of monitoring and reporting tools for Commercial data. The specialist will work autonomously, providing insights and recommendations based on analytics and Tableau reports, while collaborating with business leaders to present findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses on DataMart's to generate analytical insights for business issues.
• Support Data Issue Management and Remediation projects within the Risk & Regulatory Data & Analytics organization.
• Create ongoing monitoring and reporting tools for Commercial data monitoring.
• Develop ETL ingestions and analytics engines.
• Create and publish Tableau reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide executive recommendations based on analytics and reports.
• Lead the interpretation of complex business issues and generate insights to drive business growth.
• Communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders in an easily digestible manner.
• Act as the primary interface with business to translate requirements into analytics needs.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and value drivers.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
• Experience with Agile or Lean software development processes.
• Data Visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Nice-to-haves

• 1-3 years of software development experience.
