About the position

The Business Insights Specialist is responsible for conducting analyses on curated and aggregated DataMart's to generate relevant analytical insights for business issues and identify opportunities for business growth and value. This role collaborates with business leaders to present insights and deliver supporting materials, focusing on the creation of monitoring and reporting tools for Commercial data. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive analytics initiatives and support data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses on curated and aggregated DataMart's to generate analytical insights.
• Work in partnership with business leaders to present insights and deliver supporting collateral.
• Create ongoing monitoring and reporting tools for Commercial data monitoring.
• Develop and publish Tableau reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide executive recommendations based on analytics and Tableau reports.
• Lead the interpretation of complex business issues and generate multifaceted insights.
• Act as the primary interface with business to translate requirements into analytics needs.
• Manage relationships with various business lines and ensure alignment with enterprise requirements.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and value drivers through analytics.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics or business insights.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
• Experience with Agile or Lean software development processes.
• Data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Nice-to-haves
