About the position

The Business Insurance Account Manager / Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both potential and existing commercial customers. This part-time role focuses on managing client relationships, assisting with insurance inquiries, and supporting the agency's service goals. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, enjoys challenges, and is committed to helping clients succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of existing commercial insurance clients
  • Assist with the acquisition of new commercial customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims, or products
  • Drive customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the agency and various business partners
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and coordinate with sales specialists for follow-up
  • Assist the agency owner with attaining agency service goals

Requirements

  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer)
  • Knowledge and basic technical understanding of insurance
  • Ability to follow processes, workflow, and work independently
