About the position
The Business Insurance National Accounts Intern at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is designed to provide students with real-world experience in business, risk management, and insurance. This internship offers a comprehensive program that allows interns to apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction, while developing professional skills essential for a successful career in the insurance industry. Interns will work closely with the National Accounts team in a supportive environment that emphasizes personal and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assist the National Accounts team with spreadsheets, data entry, schematics, policy summaries, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree (or working toward degree) in a related field required.
- Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management, and peers.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications required, specifically Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
- Risk Management degree (or working towards).
- Prior insurance experience.
