About the position

The Business Intel Engineer - II at Amazon Robotics is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support the operations of Amazon's Fulfillment Centers. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver business intelligence solutions, ensuring data accuracy and reliability, and contributing to the strategic direction of the organization through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse tables, data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop moderately to highly complex data processing jobs using technologies such as SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS Lambda.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business domains, requirements, and expectations.
• Deliver data analysis that is minimally to moderately complex.
• Adopt best practices in reporting, including data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse stakeholders.
• Drive results by wearing multiple hats and going above and beyond.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
• Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
• Scripting experience in Python for data processing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Experience in data mining and ETL processes in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
