Join the Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics Research & Development's Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence Research and Development team, where innovation meets technology to shape the future. We are at the forefront of developing AI/ML breakthroughs, providing rapid-response services such as real-time human in-the-loop annotations and early-stage data labeling for AI models. Our programs significantly influence customer experiences through UI feedback and process consultations, both upstream and downstream. As part of the GO-AI R&D initiatives, you will ensure a seamless transition of solutions into operational reality, emphasizing speed and efficiency with programs starting as quickly as two weeks after requirement setting. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that not only responds quickly to experimentation needs but also actively defines the standards in technological innovation. Your contributions will be integral to pioneering technology solutions that impact the future. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and ongoing operations of scalable and performant data warehouse tables, data pipelines, reports, and dashboards. You will develop moderately to highly complex data processing jobs using technologies such as SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS Lambda. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business domains, requirements, and expectations will be crucial, as will working with data source system owners to gain insights into their capabilities and limitations. You will deliver data analysis, manage project timelines and deliverables, anticipate risks, and resolve issues while adopting best practices in reporting, ensuring data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation. Your knowledge of AI/ML and industry solutions will guide you in applying the right technologies to solve business problems, and your proven track record in launching new products and managing projects end-to-end will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse tables and data pipelines.
  • Develop complex data processing jobs using SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS Lambda.
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and expectations.
  • Deliver data analysis and manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Adopt best practices in reporting, focusing on data integrity and validation.
  • Utilize knowledge of AI/ML to apply appropriate solutions to business problems.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
  • Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Scripting experience in Python for data processing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining and working with large-scale, complex datasets.
