Join the Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics Research & Development's Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence Research and Development team, where innovation meets technology to shape the future. We are at the forefront of developing AI/ML breakthroughs, providing unique, rapid-response services such as real-time human in-the-loop annotations and early-stage data labeling for AI models. Our programs significantly influence customer experiences through UI feedback and process consultations, both upstream and downstream. As part of the GO-AI R&D initiatives, you will ensure a seamless transition of solutions into operational reality, emphasizing speed and efficiency with program initiation as quick as two weeks from requirement setting. In this role, you will be part of a team that is not just reactive but actively defining the standards in tech innovation. Your contributions will be integral to pioneering technology solutions that impact the industry. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to provide comprehensive business intelligence solutions. Your work will involve developing and refining a robust data architecture and reporting framework, ensuring data accuracy and reliability while managing timelines and deliverables of projects. You will uphold high standards in reporting and analytical practices, focusing on data integrity, experimental design, analysis methodologies, validation processes, and thorough documentation. Additionally, you will build knowledge regarding advancements in technology, tools, methodologies, and best practices in analytics, disseminating this knowledge within the analytics team. Your role will also involve extracting valuable insights from client feedback and operational data, proposing actionable recommendations, and assisting GO-AI leadership in making pivotal business decisions. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will design and execute studies to assess the impact and efficiency of various initiatives, contributing to the improvement of key performance indicators and influencing the strategic direction in the long term. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable, performant data warehouse (Redshift) tables, data pipelines, reports and dashboards.
  • Develop moderately to highly complex data processing jobs using technologies such as SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS Lambda.
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize data effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business domains, requirements, and expectations.
  • Work with data source system owners to gain insights into capabilities and limitations.
  • Deliver minimally to moderately complex data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, anticipate risks, and resolve issues.
  • Adopt best practices in reporting, focusing on data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
  • Apply knowledge of AI/ML and industry solutions to solve business problems.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of launching new products and managing projects end to end.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
  • Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Scripting experience in Python for data processing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining and ETL processes in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
