About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's performance and efficiency by analyzing data, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing actionable insights to senior management. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the company's KPI framework
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting by creating a system for consistent and accurate performance tracking
  • Analyze customer data to identify key demographics, purchasing patterns, and opportunities for growth
  • Conduct invoice analysis for top vendors to uncover cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead the design and implementation of data dashboards and reports for strategic decision making
  • Compile and transform KPI data from all departments for senior management review
  • Promote the importance of data analytics and foster a culture of data-driven decision making
  • Prepare for the future integration of an ERP system, ensuring alignment with current data practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a data-driven analytical role reporting directly to executive management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot is a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, and familiarity with laboratory information systems
  • Experience with implementing or working with ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in documenting requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently and proactively
  • Familiarity with business process modeling and optimization techniques
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience with implementing or working with ERP systems is a plus
