About the position

The Business Intelligence Analyst 2 role is a contract position focused on providing data insights and visualization to support the leadership team in making informed business decisions. This non-customer-facing role emphasizes operational reporting tasks and collaboration with stakeholders, primarily utilizing Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs.
• Work with various teams to collect or access necessary data.
• Develop and visualize data reporting solutions that meet business objectives via Power BI.
• Leverage business knowledge to resolve data-related problems.
• Serve as a project team member across multiple reporting and data analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or a related role.
• Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages to read code and understand basic functions.
• Project management skills to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to solve technical problems and interpret complex data.
• Ability to exercise judgment in selecting appropriate methods to achieve data solutions.
